Sports Day 09

Yeah, I know. Been so long since I last posted. And I'm not gonna talk about what's been happening, but here's Sports Day of Bukit Batok Sec of 2009 for you. And I only have 1 thing to say:

Bad Luck Strikes Again.

Anyway, school ended considerably early, at about 11 am. Went off with Nazirul, Nasyitah and Pei San, but Pei San left afterwards to go find her friends and I followed Naz to his house. Ate lunch there, watched the first twenty minutes of This Christmas, starring Chris Brown, btw, and left for the stadium. Was supposed to wait for Nasyitah, but turns out that she went ahead. Whee~?

Arrived at about 1.50 pm, ten minutes before supposed time. No one was in their houses yet. Haha. Went up somewhere with Naz and Nas, put my stuff down and went to change. Ya-da, ya-da, ya-da. Everyone got in their houses. Attendance taking. And the opening march of the five houses. And for the first time ever, I think, the female House Captains are the flag carriers. xD

Then, 100 m started first. Md Farhan rocked the U-13 boys division, winning two trophies and a medal in his first year. Congrats. Nazirul did awesome too, beating Kai Zhong and placing right behind Ipin. Though, he started to have muscle cramps, and we were having 200m too. Went on anyways, and I got 4th, right beside Hong Jie and behind Nazirul, Ipin and Kai Zhong. Meh, didn't expect to win anyway.

The rest went on pretty well, Lewis was pretty much getitng the top three per race, if there were participants in it anyway. Then came 4x100m. Khairul suddenly reported sick and Raimi backed out, so we had no choice but to call in Nicholas. Boy, big mistake. Guy doesn't know how to pass the baton and step back. Rafiz was the first runner and he caught the baton quite... Dumbly. Then when he passed the baton to me, he actually placed his right foot in front of my back foot, causing me to fall forward.

Fell hard on my right elbow, grazing my knees and fists and somehow, getting my right waist cut too. But I put my mind on the race and rolled back up, continuing to sprint and almost catching up with Sachin. Passed the baton to Nazirul and slowed down, when my knees collapsed and I skidded forward. Yeah, hit my elbow pretty badly. And I was pissed off at myself too, for actually falling down. Dammit.

Bad luck, eh? Yeah. I was so pissed off I actuallly clouded out everyone else. I lost count of the number of people who asked me if I was alright, cause I wasn't even counting. I did count the number of replies I gave, though. 0.

Went to SJAB soon after and got my grazes cleaned up, cause I didn't realise that my waist was cut yet. Used the pain as an excuse to be a little more emotional than usual. When I was done, I walked off, looking for Rafiz and apologising to him, ignoring Nicholas completely, then went off to look for Nazirul. Found him at the long jump station so I went there. Apologised, then sat down to rest my elbow, which was still hurting, btw. Then, noticed that there was only Helmi and Nazirul. Run Zhou was not there. Quickly told Mr Lee, then went on to replace Run Zhou.

First jump was a bit messed up, cause it was my first time ever doing long jump. Landed on my feet, but quickly fell on my grazed knees. Hurt like hell, and my injured elbow didn't help. Walked off for a bit, psyching myself to do better, before going for my 2nd jump. Squeezed my elbow to drive away the pain first, I went off to do my second jump and I just did things naturally. Landed on my two feet, and fell forward, stopping myself with my right arm. And thus, my right elbow. My waist started to hurt too.

Got off the sand pit and checked my waist, noticing the cut that was slightly bleeding. Yeouch. Went to check the results and whoo~! I got 5.43 m! I beat Kai Zhong and Arrifin, injured. Well, at least something good came out of it, ya? Went to SJAB to get my cut cleaned, joked with Naima about how everytime we talk, I'm always injured. Then went to the prize giving ceremony. And Lewis was leading. Whee.

Went off with Hafiz this time, met Fanna, before heading off to meet with Nadia. Yeah. Walked her home. Went home with Hafiz. Picked up Show Chan's pants. Went home and got my elbow checked. Turns out that the muscle got beat up pretty badly. Yeah. The grazes were cleaned up too, and yeah.

Had to wear bandages today, though. Felt like a mummy. xD
